We are Hostal Casita Matata, located in the Uramba Bahía Málaga National Park. We have created with lots of love a 100% eco and handmade space that is built with local wood. This wonderful beach is known for its freedom. Here, you can be yourself. Enjoy it with other fellow travelers.

We are located in a great spot in La Barra beach, just a few steps from the sea. We offer a beautiful, comfortable and fun environment.
There are tiny convenience stores and local restaurants where natives can cook excellent meals for you.

All rooms have Wi-Fi access, fans, plugs, lamps and most importantly: mosquito nets.
You will also have coffee and a refrigerator at your disposal.

We have a bar, hammock areas to relax, a hanging mesh, and a bonfire area.

La Barra is the ideal place to explore the biodiversity of the Colombian Pacific coast.
You can enjoy many different activities such as:

- Surfing
- Humpback Whale Watching (July - October)
- Camping at the beach
- Kayaking
- Natural freshwater pools
- Beaches of all types of sand
- Waterfalls
- Mangroves
- Indigenous settlements
- Guided walks through the jungle
- Rowing boat rides
- Plankton in the mangroves at night

If you love fishing, you have come to the right place to be guided and accompanied by natives of this fishing town.

Our main objective is to share culture by organizing local music performances and bringing together natives, travelers and Currulao singers from the area in a large monthly party.

To board the speedboat, go to the Buenaventura tourist pier (office #8 - La Fragata)
