Really cute hostel very close to the beach. I was there in low season so it wasn’t very busy and therefore not very social but it’s great if you want some quiet down time. The owner is very lovely and helped me book a moto back to Juanchaco at 7am to catch the early boat. Only thing is the water from the hostel is a bit expensive but if u walk into the town you can find cheaper ones.

This hostel is adorable. The location is close to the beach. Very nice decorations and little details throughout the place. When we were there during the week it was empty. La Barra doesnt have much going on during the week during low season and it was difficult to find places to eat or buy snacks. Other than that had a great time!

Casita Matata is this little heaven in an quiet beach you want to make your trio to Colombia unforgettable. The staff is lovely and the structure is nice. The atmosphere depends on the guests you cross as the place is small and it's not very know among international turists. I loved it here and would come back if ever visiting La Barra again.
