I would not recommend this hostel, especially for female solo travelers. From the start, it feels unsafe and unwelcoming. There is no reception, and I had to ask a bouncer at the bar downstairs—who was clearly annoyed—for access, then navigate a dark alley to reach the entrance. The hostel itself is on the third floor with no elevator, making luggage and accessibility difficult. The facilities are substandard and unhygienic. For an 11-person dorm, there are only two showers and three unisex toilets, which were dirty, with hair, water, trash, and soaked toilet paper everywhere. There was also rotting milk on the counter, and the locker in my room was rusted, unstable, and about to collapse. The separate luggage lockers downstairs are inconvenient, opening only from 10 AM to 4 PM, making them almost useless for early arrivals or late departures. The hostel’s rules are restrictive and contradictory. Guests are not allowed to hang anything or leave rooms “messy”, yet the sheets were stained yellow, beds were not made, and guests are expected to clean the room and remove all bedding themselves. When I requested assistance, it took five hours to respond, and they insisted everything was clean despite the clearly poor conditions. The location is not convenient—there are no nearby restaurants or walkable attractions, and the hostel is not social. Despite a 9 PM quiet time, the bar downstairs continues to shake the building until midnight. Additionally, there is no wifi password provided, and the roof, the only communal area, is closed half the week. Overall, this hostel is unsafe, unclean, and poorly managed. Female solo travelers and anyone seeking a safe, social, or convenient stay should avoid it entirely.
