Well, Auckland is not only a busy city, but it also has amazing landscapes, I’m talking, monogenetic volcanoes covering a lot of the metropolitan area and amazing hidden waterfalls just a short drive out of the city. Getting around the city is made easy breezy via bus, train and ferry. To make it short and sweet, the bus routes are the most extensive but (you guessed it) the trains are a quicker option, while the ferries allow you to explore the islands. In terms of money, you can either use cash or purchase an AT HOP card that will get you around 20% off the fare price.
