Summary of traveller reviews

Hostel On The Hill - By Filikuri Beach in Himare offers stunning views and a warm, family-like atmosphere. Guests love the friendly host, delicious and affordable breakfast, and free coffee. It's a great spot for travellers seeking a relaxed vibe, though the uphill location means a bit of a walk to town. Some recent feedback mentions noise from a fridge in one dorm.

Let me take you by the hand when I tell you this; they are NOT kidding about the hill. If you're out of shape like me it is a bit of a trek but once you get to the hostel the view is spectacular. The amenities are fine, but I didn't use them because I was out at the beach all day.

It was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It has a wonderful view... I literally felt like I was visiting my grandmother who lives in the countryside. The hostel has a family atmosphere. Jenifer and her husband are a super friendly couple, and although her English is quite limited, I still felt connected. It was also a fun way to communicate. The breakfast is well-served with organic food, so I thought it was worth the price of about 3 euros and was very satisfied. They raise animals and also grow

Beautiful location, a little hike uphill and 30 minute walk to the main center so not so good if you want to go to the beach, eat out, go out etc and go back and forth. But good place if you just want to relax and chill, except if you stay in one of the dorm rooms, there is a fridge that sounds like a generator, it was torture trying to sleep in that room. Think the other dorms where ok, but mine was hell. Also a nice little grandma is the main person at the place and do not speak English.
