The hostel itself was lovely and cozy we met some great people and it has a good kitchen / social area. However we wished we’d read the google reviews before arriving. The one thing to note is while the owner was helpful at times he was quite hard to get hold of and can be unresponsive, for example when we arrive our room had no heating and the windows kept blowing open it took a while to get this sorted. We also had a moment where we felt quite threatened while trying to resolve a b*db*g issue.

Great stay! the manager Rodrigo was very helpful! great cabins, comfy beds, clean bathrooms. 8 beds with 1 bathroom was not an ideal ratio, but we made it work. while the hostel is very close to the bus station, it's a bit of a walk to the trail heads. still, overall a very positive experience and would totally go again!
