About

This is an incredibly stylish old house in Pelourinho, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have focused on ensuring you have a unique and pleasant experience. Among other things, you will stay in the same house as Mae Santo Denise De Oliveira, who can predict your future or introduce you to the secrets of Candomble.

Additionally, we are committed to the ecological economy and the reuse of materials. We might organize a pop-up event, an evening with vegan food from Bahia while you are here, or a themed evening.

Excellent location right in the historic centre and it had a secure entry access system. When I was there the top levels (the nice pictures on here) were completely deserted - you could walk up there but it was a bit strange. The main social area is lovely and airy. Strong hippy vibe here.

Really friendly and lovely hostel, great location and a nice social area. Only having 2 toilets and showers in such a small area was tricky but they are building more!

The house is very beautiful but not the most adapted for a hostel. Very noisy and not a lot of bathrooms and showers (only 2) as well as no hot water.. but we still had a nice stay
