The location of this hostel is in a very trash filled/sketchy neighborhood, which is crazy considering both doors are always unlocked all day/night. It's half a mile from the metro station which was the only upside. No lockers, the address is wrong, no hand soap, fridge full of food w/ no room to add more, no water station, stained spring mattresses, thermostat is set to 78°F. On-site laundry. I stayed in the city for 90% of my trip because I didn't want to return here at the end of my day.

They have a nice kitchen where you can store food or cook. However, the picture shown for this hostel is incredibly misleading, the hostel is not in a safe area and is not by Venice Beach. I wouldn’t stay here again mainly because I felt unsafe walking around the area surrounding the hostel.

It was ok. I probably won’t be going back to this hostel again. The bed was very uncomfortable. I was there for one night.
