Welcome to La Terraza Casa Atahualpa, a 19th-century heritage house overlooking the colorful hills of Valparaíso. Our home is not a typical hostel — it is a living cultural space, a creative refuge, and a gateway to discovering Valparaíso from the inside. We don’t just offer rooms.

A House With History & Soul

Casa Atahualpa has two floors and three uniquely decorated bedrooms, each filled with character and the warmth of an old Chilean family home.
On the upper floor, you will find the bedrooms, the main bathroom, and a spacious living room decorated with original art painted by your hosts.
The lower floor features a fully equipped shared kitchen, a cozy dining room, and access to our spectacular panoramic terrace, the heart of the house. Here you can enjoy sunsets, music, great conversations — and a dedicated space for barbecues.

From the terrace and several rooms, you can enjoy an open city view, the Pacific air, and the atmosphere that made Valparaíso a UNESCO World Heritage site. We are located 1.7 km from Caleta Portales Beach, 10 km from Viña del Mar, close to the Bustan Terminal, and 8 km from the iconic Flower Clock.
