AC is weak and not adjustable. Really too hot and muggy in the rooms. Whatever you do don’t get room 126 as it’s right behind the girls bathroom and unless you like the sound of slamming stall doors all night long banging into the walls of the room I would suggest otherwise. They need to put soft close stall doors on each one in there. Huge nuisance to me and my bunk mates.

Rooms are a bit small, but I think that’s generally the case for hostels in Cairns. Kitchen isn’t so big either, but they have people cleaning during peak hours which is really great. Bathrooms were clean and good. They shut the lights in the hallways at 10pm, so it generally gets quiet around then. A lot of long-term folks.
