Great location, nice staff, very quiet at night but lively at day! The room I was staying in was mostly long term stayers and room was a little messy. Definitely book the 4 bed rooms if possible!

Great little hostel in an amazing location in Cairns. Not the most social, lots of people there for long-stays but nonetheless we met a couple of people in our room that are doing a similar route to us down the east coast. Amazing beds and top class facilities for hostels. Very impressed.

Huge hostel, nice staff, a lot of long terms, once they were cleaning the showers at 6pm (main time people actually come back to the hostel to shower but okay) but the biggest problem is that there are SO many older people in the hostels, as a female solo traveler did not feel the most comfortable with that many older man walking around most of the time drunk.
