OSO Hostel

Oso Hostel is in Los Linderos which is past Buritaca and past the police station on the Mountain side of the highway. It is about a 200 meter walk to the Finca gate from the highway. The property manager can be reached by what's app if the gate is closed. Or you can just ask a neighbor for entrance. There is a small store at the Start of the small road called La Eden there is also the Oso sign in a Mango Tree visible from the highway.

This property has two cabins on the closest ridgeline to the sea. The higher cabin has beds for 3 and has a private shower and toilet. It is located about fifty meters above the main cabin and has a sprawling 180 degree view of the sea and banana fields and a valley and mountain view from the other direction. These cabins aren't air conditioned.

The main cabin has 3 room. It has 3 bunk beds in the lower room which I would call the dorm. On the second floor there are two private rooms with 120cm beds that can sleep two. The second floors has 2.5 x 6 meters balcony. There is netting on the top of the rooms on the second floor to prevent insects from entering but keep it well ventilated. There is television and wifi

Near the Main cabin is a bathroom and kitchen compound area with a refrigerator and stove, two toilets and two showers. There is plenty of parking and the property is accessible by car but very slowly.

We have a motorcycle to rent to drive high up on the mountain or to travel to Buritaca, Puerto Nuevo or Palomino.

Going to the rivers for tubing dor going to the beach can be easily arranged by contacting the property manager John.
