This hostel is full of bedbugs!!! I booked four nights at this hostel and had to leave after one because of bedbugs. I saw bedbugs in the first room I was put in and then after I changed to a new room I woke up the next morning with bites. The workers did not seem to understand how bad the situation was and only offered to change the bed and then the room. I saw no evidence that they were cleaning the rooms or making any effort to get rid of the bugs. Very bad management of the issue.

Beautiful building and very atmospheric but let down by glitches in service. Plus dodgy area at night so try to arrive before dark. A street back from main road.. But go hard left out of building down paved pedestrian area that extends a few blocks for great cafes and bars especially Ta Kavapia a fab 1938 : Staff did not recommend any places- they were lovely but seemed inexperienced. Plus why are there no duvet covers or at least a sheet! So unhygienic! Used sarong!

Good location—easy walk to Monastiraki and transit. Fast WiFi and decent kitchen. Capsule beds are better than bunks, and lockers are convenient. But the room was freezing (poor insulation, thin blanket), noisy, and the bed sagged/creaked. Shower was handheld only, no bathroom shelves. Rooftop/jacuzzi unusable in winter, and no real common/lounge area. Overall: great location, but comfort needs work.
