Step outside and you’re already in El Tunco. The beach, surf breaks, restaurants, bars, nightlife and cafés are all right there — and our own Seaside Market is directly downstairs for cold drinks, snacks and everyday essentials.

Upstairs, Surfside has an open-air balcony overlooking the streets of El Tunco. Hang out with other travelers, have a drink, cook together or just relax after a day of surfing.

We’re not trying to be a resort. Surfside is a simple, affordable surf hostel in one of the best locations in El Tunco — good beds, cold AC, a kitchen, good people and everything you came to El Tunco for right outside the door.

Your comfort and security matter to us. Surfside has a keypad-controlled entrance, and every guest receives an access code at check-in. Come and go without worrying about keys while keeping hostel access limited to guests and staff.

We’re right in the heart of El Tunco, which means you’re close to the bars, restaurants and nightlife — but it also means the area can get loud, especially on weekends.

If you’re looking for complete peace and quiet at night, Surfside might not be the right fit. If you want to stay in the middle of everything El Tunco has to offer, you’ll be right at home.

Surfside El Tunco Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the first night of your stay will be charged.

Check-in from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Check-out until 11:00 AM.

Payment on arrival with cash, credit and debit cards.
This property will pre-authorize your card before arrival.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included.
