About

Roaming Tiger is a small, cozy hostel in the heart of Seoul — currently in our soft-opening period.

To set expectations honestly: our capsules don’t yet have curtains, individual lights, in-bed outlets, or personal lockers. We’re adding them over time, in that order. There are outlets in the room for charging, and the essentials for a good night’s rest are all in place. In exchange for the works-in-progress, we offer significantly lower rates during this period.

A note on our atmosphere — we’re a quiet, calm hostel, not a party place. Our guests come from all over the world, and the space works best when everyone is considerate of each other, especially late at night.

If you’re looking for an honest, affordable base in Seoul with a calm vibe, we’d love to host you.

Summary of traveller reviews

Roaming Tiger Seoul offers a great location with many restaurants and metro access nearby. Guests appreciate the good value and clean facilities. Some recent feedback notes ongoing construction, with minor issues like no bedside lamps or plugs, and a lack of social atmosphere.

it was a brilliant stay! still a new hostel that is establishing itself, so a few minor quirks to be smoothed over. I definitely recommend it for a cheap bed in Seoul :)

For the price in Seoul the hostel was good! The staff I briefly spoke to were nice and they were kind not to charge me for an extra night I booked in error. They state clearly that the hostel is still under construction and it wasn’t too bad - just no lamp or plug socket in the bed space (so couldn’t charge my phone overnight and use the alarm, had to rely on my portable charger but it was ok). The shower was good. The room was very small and there was no social atmosphere but otherwise fine!
