Malkoha Studios offers a unique hostel experience in the picturesque village of Hiriketiya. Our open air, single bedrooms are perfect for solo travellers who are looking for a private space to stay while on a budget.
We have 8x single bedrooms, with one shared bathroom. The bathroom has 4 showers and 4 toilets, which means there are plenty of amenities for everyone.
Malkoha Studios is located on the same property as Malkoha Specialty Café and Bar. We offer high-quality coffee, celebrating local Sri Lankan beans, with a carefully curated food menu.
We are located directly on Pehembiya Beach, which still remains one of the best hidden gems on the South Coast. Enjoy an uncrowded beach with stunning, clear blue water that is the perfect place to swim and relax for the day during the peak season months. Alternatively, take a short 10-minute walk over the hill to Hiriketiya Bay for a day chilling by the beach, surfing or exploring the Bay's extensive range of restaurants and bars.
