From close encounters with giant blue whales to admiring the tiniest colibris, from twinkling lights in the city centre to starry skies on the beach, Baja California Sur has it all. With its cozy atmosphere, comfortable beds and excellent vibes, we know that Whale Tales Hostel is the ideal base to start your Baja explorations!

We are located in the authentic neighbourhood of Rosarito in San José del Cabo, a 15 minute walk from the historical city centre with its colourful colonial houses and the famous Art Walk. Surrounded by affordable local restaurants and bars + close to all the buzz, but in a quieter area of town where everyone still knows each other. Two minutes walking to the main highway and the bus stop, ideal for budget travelers who prefer using public transport.

Wake up to the smell of fresh coffee and a delicious breakfast, before we give you some tips on how to spend your day. Maybe you'll rent a snorkel and discover the marine life down below, or head out with your bike in search for new adventures. We'll take you to catch the sunset on Cerro de la Chiva or fill up on home made pizza during our Friday Pizza Night.

Cancellation policy: 2 day(s) before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
