Welcome to Petro’s Bungalows and hostel, a place where nature meets peace. Standing a few step away from many hikes, our hostel is well situated. It offers a beautiful view on the Laos mountainous landscape while being in a haven of serenity. Its closeness to the Nong Khiaw village allows travellers as well as backpackers to enjoy the Laos culture.

Take in the beautiful sights of Nong Khiaw by trekking in the valleys, or by riding around on a mountain bike available directly available at the hostel. Discover Nong Khiaw and its neighbouring villages like Muang Ngoi and Sop Chem with one of the many tour we provide, with options varying from 1 to 3 days to suit your travels best.

We offer a variety of rooms, ranging from hostel dorms to bungalows, as well as beautiful common areas that are perfect for meeting like-minded people from all around the world. Sit around the campfire, or play a card game while sharing a homemade meal and a coffee.

I would highly recommend staying at Petros. Firstly, the location is absolutely stunning. You wake to the sound of the jungle with butterflies and birds everywhere. It's so quiet and away from the town so you've no light pollution for the stars. The bungalows are so comfy and feels like your own private little escape. Petro himself is an excellent host who makes you feel at home right away and cooks excellent meals. He gives great and knowledgable recommendations to local sites as well!
