Manly Bunkhouse

We are a privately owned hostel located in the heart of Manly on Sydney's Northern Beaches, located only 250 metres from the iconic Manly Beach and just a 10 minute walk from Manly Corso and Ferry. We are just a short stroll away from Manly’s best restaurants and a range of supermarkets and shops.

We provide budget accommodation for a range of travellers from around the world in a quiet beachside location. We create a clean, relaxed and friendly atmosphere that caters to all guests whether you’re here on a short-term vacation or looking for more of a long-term stay whilst on a Working Holiday visa.

Each of our rooms has its own private bathroom attached to it, lockers and linen. Our private rooms are also equipped with basic essentials including towels, coffee, tea, sugar, and soap.

Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property and all guests will have access to our shared common areas which include:
- Large living room with an HD TV, streaming services and gaming consoles
- Commercial kitchen
- Dining room
- Reading / study room
- Courtyard
- Backyard with a clothesline and BBQ

Our guest guide and events board is updated periodically with upcoming events and information of things to do in and around Manly. See our friendly staff for any ideas or further information. Manly offers lots of options for leisure as scenic walks, diving, snorkelling, sailing, surfing, kite surfing, beautiful sunrise and sunset spots and much more.

Please note that our dorms are reserved for international travellers only. Our private rooms are open to both international and domestic travellers.

No refund is given after check-in if you choose to check-out earlier than your reservation dates.

Our office hours are: 10:00 - 13:00 and 15:00 - 17:00 daily

For check-ins outside these times please CALL US prior to your arrival as we can always accommodate a late check-in. Occasionally an early check-in is possible, if not we can store your luggage until your room is ready.

Your ID and a security deposit is required upon check-in. The deposit is $50 per person for shared rooms and $100 per room for private rooms and can be paid with either cash or a physical card. If you have indicated that you are arriving after-hours, or have not arrived before our office closes, we will automatically take a pre-authorisation from your card as a security bond. If your after-hours arrival is a one night stay we will also take full payment for the night.

For any bookings during the Xmas-New Year period (16th December – 5th January) we require full payment at the time of your booking and we have a strict no refund cancellation policy.

Please note that as we are located in a quiet residential area, strict quiet hours are in effect every night.
