The Full Moon Backpackers

We are a friendly Backpackers Hostel situated in the heart of Bristol's famous cultural district Stokes Croft, right in the city centre. The Full Moon is a great place to meet like-minded people and discover our unique city!

All of our guests have access to our licensed bar located in the same building, where we organise a variety of events and club nights open to public, we are the home to one of Bristol's legendary music venues. We have two great food vendors located in our property, Italian pizza oven and a pop up in the courtyard.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL GUESTS ARE REQUIRED:

- TO PROVIDE VALID PHOTO I.D (Passport, Citizen I.D or Drivers License)
- To pay the outstanding Room payment via Card upon arrival (we do not accept cash)
- To pay a £20 refundable security deposit
- To leave a phone number when booking our property

Useful info:
- Check in opens at 15:00
- Guests can check in anytime AFTER 15:00 there is no last check in time
- Reception is open 24/7
- Check-out is strictly by 11:00
- Our luggage store is free for a big and small bag per person, any more bags will incur a £5 per day charge.
- All Guests receive 10% discount on Foods and Drinks!
- We offer a laundry service Monday - Thursday for all guests.

Cancellation policy: 2 days

We will charge your card for the remaining balance at the time of booking in order to confirm your reservation.
The remaining balance will be refunded if you cancel your booking within the Free-Cancellation policy.

In the case of invalid card details or insufficient funds, we will try to contact you via telephone, but if we're unable to make contact then unfortunately we'll need to cancel your booking, at which point you'll be notified of this by email.
Providing a phone number is mandatory while booking our property.

Upon arrival, guests will need to pay a refundable security deposit of £20 by card. Please note that we do not accept cash payments. This will be refunded to you upon checking out and may take a few working days after that to reach your account.
Guests will also need to provide us with a valid passport or driving license in order to stay. This is a compulsory security measure that we undertake and is non-negotiable.

Deposits are retained and fines occur in cases of damage, excessive mess, abusive/antisocial behaviour, key loss, or late check-outs past 11am. Please note we will charge a higher amount than the initial deposit if necessary. Although our Hostel is a undoubtedly a fun and lively venue, we do expect our guests to uphold a respectful level of conduct during their stay. We have the right to remove and ban any guests from making future bookings at The Full Moon Backpackers who breach our policies.

Please call us direct for group bookings as different pay conditions apply.

During our peak summer months June- September we do not accept group bookings over 6.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT STAG, HEN OR SPORTS/UNIVERSITY GROUPS.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT GUESTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18, as we have a licensed bar on site.
Prices may vary at weekends, on bank holidays or whilst special events are on in Bristol.


A gentle reminder to all our future guests: The Full Moon is not only a comfortable place to lay your head at night, it's also a great social hub with weekly music events, as well as fairs and festivals throughout the year! Be aware that on weekends the bar can get lively and noise levels will be higher on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday nights when the venue stays open late until 2 am. We can provide you with earplugs but would highly recommend participating in the fun!

What's on at The Full Moon?

Monday - Bar closed.
Tuesday - Questionable quizzes in the Pub Bar - a classic pub quiz that open's to the public & our own Hostel team! Get your general knowledge rehearsed.
Wednesday - Pub open till 12:00am.
Thursday - FAAB student night, Bristol drum and Bass every OTHER Thursday bringing you DJ's in our music venue until 2am. Expect busy and loud and full of vibes!

Comedy night!- a night of stand up comedy every ALTERNATE Thursday.
Friday - Various Club night (Live bands and DJ's) in our Music Venue until 2am.

Pint & Social (Hostel event only) where guests who sign up to this will get a FREE Pint and a chance to meet other hostel guests!
Saturday - Various Club night (live bands and DJ's) in our Music Venue until 2am.

Sunday - Pub open until 23:00.
