OVERVIEW
The Mansion Melbourne, has recently had a facelift of grand proportions and reopened. Here you will discover a fusion of chilled vibes, heritage charm, stylish spaces and a fabulous team, at your service, from 9am - 6:30pm Daily, and emergency after hours staff on call, 7 days a week. Featuring all of your cravable comforts such as free Wi-Fi, co-working spaces,'Movie Night Monday' - including popcorn & biscuits, lavish new beds, 'Board Games' every Thursday, Bar Open Fridays from 3pm to Late with a Backpacker BBQ from 6-7pm you'll feel at home right away!
LOCATION
The Mansion is superbly located for all of your Melbourne escapades. A few paces to the left and you'll be in the CBD discovering Melbourne one laneway at a time. Cross the road, and you will be strolling down Brunswick Street in Melbourne's coolest inner-city suburb, Fitzroy. Or if you want some quiet time relaxing with a book in Carlton Gardens. With multiple free trams and Parliament Train Station within a stone's throw, you'll be living like a local in no time.
ROOMS
The Mansion features 15 newly renovated rooms over three levels, connected by a grand double spiral staircase. Sound just a bit fancy? It is! Fitted out with new bunk beds complete with privacy curtain, luscious thick mattresses and pillows, a private bed light, power point and a locker, you’ll never want to leave. For those seeking solace from the heat in summer, we offer a whole floor with air-conditioning.
Guests must be minimum 18 years of age.
All guests must provide a valid photo ID on check-in - physical I.D, not a copy
All guests must provide Visa/Mastercard credit/debit card on check-in.
Management reserve the right to refuse entry upon arrival.
Reception check in times are 1pm - 6:30pm Daily
You are welcome to arrive early, from 9am to drop off bags and hang out in the hostel until check in
Arriving after 6:30pm, that's okay our night manager on call will welcome you, this service is available till 10pm & 11:30pm on Fridays - please notify us prior to arrival if you are arriving late
Please note check ins, are not available after 10pm at night (except for Fridays 11:30pm) - for security reasons and the comfort of inhouse Guests - If you need a late check in after 10pm you will need to book alternative accommodation that offers late night arrival.
Hostel Code of Conduct:
* Clean up after yourself, including washing, drying, and putting away dishes after use and before eating - clean as you cook.
* Guests are not permitted to possess or consume Alcohol in and on Hostel Grounds *
The Mansion Hostel is exclusively for hostel Guests to enjoy, Visitors are not permitted in the Hostel but are welcome to Hang out in reception and the courtyard.
* Listen to and follow all staff direction.
A breach of the following will result in immediate termination of reservation:
* Sneaking visitors into the hostel
* Smoking, Vaping, burning candles, or incense inside the hostel,
* Entering another guest’s room without their express consent.
* Possession, consumption or sale of Illicit drugs
* Physical or verbal intimidation, abuse, and/or violence.
* Guests suspected of or caught stealing
