Chamonix Lodge is the ideal base for your stay in Chamonix. Located only 10 minutes walk to the centre of town, fully equipped with a sauna and large terrace & garden with incredible views of the Mont Blanc Massif, we guarantee you will want to extend your stay with us! We have renovated the building in November 24 with lots of modern conveniences.

We have lots of rooms types (dorms & privates) for you to choose from and multiple wi-fi routers throughout. We are a modern posh hostel not a traditional YHA.

Chamonix Lodge's large communal kitchen and dining area are all open-plan. The lounge has plenty of seating, with a separate TV room filled with comfortable bean bags, games & book library.

There is also storage space for you to leave your equipment during your stay, and we are happy to store your luggage while you explore the mountain.

FOR ALL BOOKINGS PAYMENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE ARRIVAL BY CARD. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT BY CASH, CHEQUE DU VACANCE.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE A VALID METHOD OF PAYMENT WHEN BOOKING OR YOU MAY HAVE THE BOOKING CANCELLED. It is important to provide a working phone number and email to receive check in instructions.

NON REFUNDABLE BOOKINGS - Payment is taken at the time of booking. No cancellations are allowed but you can change dates up to 3 days before arrival and receive a credit for a future booking if cancelled more than 3 days before arrival.

REFUNDABLE BOOKINGS - Booking can be changed or cancelled for FREE more than 3 days before arrival - Payment is taken 3 days before arrival by the card on file.

- A Free simple breakfast is provided to all guests.
- Bed Linen fee is charged as a flat rate of 5 euros per room (privates) or per bed (dorms) per stay. the use of our linen is mandatory
- Tax de sejour (tourist tax) is charged at 1 euro per person per night - This provides FREE TRAIN travel in the Valley. It does NOT provide FREE buses anymore.
- There is no capacity for extra beds in the rooms.
- Children 16 or over are allowed without adults present as long as a parent or guardian gives consent.
- Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible, places are limited).
- Pets are not allowed

I booked female room, but in my last night, a man came to our 3 women room. I sent a complaint to Chamonix lodge and didn’t get any reply. It is not alright for Hostel accepted a man in the ‘female’ room. I would like a refund for my last night.

very much enjoyed my stay. i liked the self serve nature. the complementary ear plugs were a nice detail. vibes were good. everyone seemed to be up to something interesting and willing to talk about their adventure. only negatives, 2 bathrooms for the whole hostel was a bit too few, wifi was pretty poor.

It's the perfect mountain accommodation! I really enjoyed my stay there, the facilities are good, you can make your own food very easy and there was breakfast included! The view from my window was beautiful and the view in the backyard is amazing, drink a tea or coffee there and you'll feel great for the rest of the day! The rooms work with a lock, that has a number pad, so it is very safe! If you are no stranger to walking, the city centre is 20 min away, but you can always take a bus there!
