Located on the 16th century Rua da Carreira in the heart of the city’s historic and business district, next to parks, shopping areas, bus stops and 10 minute walk from Marina, Residencial Colombo offers an easy access to main Funchal tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, possessing private bathrooms with solar heated hot water, modern furniture and TV. 16 of our rooms are equipped with kitchenette. Our excellent terrace offers a beautiful panoramic view. Reception works 24 hours a day, all guests can use free wifi internet on public areas.

I stayed one night, she place didn't feel clean (apart from the direct bedsheets which were) and it had quirks, I didn't appreciate but maybe that was the room I was in? It was small, towels were clean. Soap was so water down it was hard to use. The bed was so hard it was difficult to get comfortable. Outside men were working and coming to and from outside my patio door so after half an hour of them being able to see in the room I closed the curtains and had to keep them closed.

This was by far the most expensive hostel we have stayed in to date with the worst facilities. Here's our experience; there is zero sound proofing. We could hear people having sex all night and snoring. the beds were filled with bed bugs, and the shower did not work. DO NOT stay here.
