Loved my stay in the YHA pen-y-pass. I was travelling solo and it’s my first experience of a YHA but the staff were super helpful and really friendly. My evening meal and breakfast were great but loved that I could also use the self catering kitchen for a brew and to store my sandwiches for the following day. Everything was super safe and secure. My room was squeaky clean and my bed really comfy. I couldn’t have asked for anymore! Thanks again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return x

4 middle aged men staying in the 4 dorm room with en suite. Location was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Ensuite shower was spacious. Breakfast options were great. The evening menu had good variety - we had the burger and beer deal every night! And the staff were super friendly and helpful. 11/10 :)

Parking is opposite and costs £45 a night. Hostel didn’t look anything like the photos. For £180 for one night I could have stayed in a nice hotel. Staff on reception were rude. Breakfast states all you can eat but they serve you and you have to pay night before and then arrive at an exact time. Overall very poor. Definitely don’t recommend it. Unless you want to pay £250 for a bed and parking in a very poorly run bunkhouse.
