My stay was meh overall. What really sealed the negative experience was that on the day of checkout I left my bags at reception as I had a late evening bus. When I picked up my bag, and after arriving at the station I realised my backpack zipper had been folded so that the lock was still there but the zipper allowed a hand sized hole to rummage through my belongings. I can’t check at the moment if anything is missing as I’m at the station boarding my bus. Very angry. Staff are deplorable.

one of the cleanest and safest hostels ive stayed at and the staff doubt speak English but get through with google translate and they are super kind a patient. Maribel the "house manager" is the best. I stayed in a private room with ensuite and it was cleaned daily. recommend tipping cleaners daily since it's cleaned by different people each day. I waited till the end to give the tip in bulk.vthe location is fantastic, just a few block from the town centre of la Crucecita & 20 min - Santa cruz
