Located next to Nave Multipurpose sports complex and surrounded by the new Ecovia trail, you have 2.5 hectares of forest suitable for hiking and mountain biking, allowing quick access to practically everything: 8 km of beaches, streams and lagoon, indoor swimming pools and/or sea water swimming pool, games, nightlife spaces, festivals (cinema and music), theatre, exhibitions and street arts, not forgetting the traditional market of Mondays which, with its stalls and catchphrases, attract so many people and bring entertainment to the streets of Espinho!

Other than my horrible snoring keeping roommates awake at nightnight, i enjoyed my stay and the free breakfast in the morning is what i needed to get my day going!

This hostel is not in a good state and seems to have declined considerably from the photos and past reviews. The beds are rusting and there is mould and mildew on the doors, walls, closets, and mattresses. The atmosphere is cold and institutional. The linen is clean though and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, but apart from this, I think this was the worst hostel I have ever stayed in despite its above nine review when booking.
