Scary and stressful experience. After a 4-hour boat trip we arrived at Safe Landing but were told it was fully booked due to a local event, even though our reservation was confirmed and paid. A boat driver even tried taking us to another resort without telling us. The owner said it was a booking mistake but asked us to leave and go elsewhere. Being pregnant and stranded with no place to stay was very stressful. They also promised to refund the platform booking fee, which has not been done.

Great stay overall. To be honest, the place kinda run-down. Lots of repairs and renovations needed, water runs out every couple of hours, but the staff more than makes up for it. The owners are locals, and i loved the authentic Fijian experience i got here. It’s like a huge homestay. The location is a huge plus. Nacula island is beautiful. Just don’t expect luxury, expect to rough it out a bit, and you’ll have a great time here like i did.

Amazing staff! They actually remember your name. The meals are eaten together which is kind of nice actually (if you are open to meeting other people that is). Dorm rooms are acceptable and location is great! Definitely check out the tea House nearby! Worth it!
