European style accommodation. Private rooms with shared bath. Rooms include free WiFi, a double size bed suitable for two people (children under 6 stay free, one maximum per room), a sink lavatory and cable television.

We have a 24 hour front desk to provide extra security. Rooms come fully furnished with either laminate wood flooring or tile flooring with night stand, dresser, headboard, and work table with chair. Brand new showers with a total or two per floor as well as two toilette's. You can go in and out 24 hours no time restriction.

Charges may apply to some facilities offered.

Some pros and cons. Facilities are pretty good - had a TV, towels, soap, sink in the room. Apparently there's an on-site laundry. Room and entrance have a key card. Generally clean. On the other hand, water pressure in the communal showers was a bit limited, there's only hand sanitizer for the communal toilets (doesn't work against all viruses), and there was often noise from people on the street outside. Some emails to the staff weren't responded to. Overall it was fine for for my budget/needs.

Sadly this has got to be the worst place we've ever stated at. There are zombie drug addicts and homeless people hanging out around the property day and night - it's NOT SAFE AT ALL. You can't sleep at night as you hear them yelling and swearing on the street. You can't leave this place or come home by yourself. I've never seen anything like this in my life. You're in the ghetto! Our room and the hotel itself has 0 atmosphere - I mean zero! Not even a single picture anywhere, the colours are dreary and sad and everything looks depressing - inside and out. We were given 2 'bath' towels that are not even bath towels for European standards - those are hand towels. :( The only item in the room other than the bed was the tiny TV and it didn't work. On the positive: check-in was ok, staff was friendly and everything was clean but man... for the love of Dog, don't stay here. :(

The carpeting looks old, not spotless but clean. The showers, toilets, and room were all clean. Our private room was cozy for the price we paid. There're (unfortunately) homeless people outside, like in other cities in America, pubs, clubs, and bars that create noise in the hood. Location: excellent, you'll be 5 min to the Bart station, the cable car, union square, and other attractions. We've nothing to complain about. We were with respect and dignity. This was our experience.
