Our stay at Gintribu Guest House was very pleasant. The place is very clean and cozy, and the owner - the amazing Tati - is very helpful and welcoming. We had a good time with her, and she helped us to organize the hike to Sibayak and the transport to Lake Toba. Highly recommended!

I had the best time here! Tati is genuinely such an incredible host, she goes above and beyond to help you with literally anything, especially transport! She even picked me fresh oranges off her tree! The location is lovely, out of the way of the majority of hustle and bustle but super quick and easy to get into the centre! Everything you need is there, beds are lovely and comfy and the whole atmosphere is welcoming and chill - would stay again in a heartbeat

The place is very quaint and well kept and honestly our stay was really lovely. Tati was the only one at the hostel as her husband was away, she is a lovely person who will say she doesn’t know much English and then proceed to have a great conversation with you. Me and 3 of my friends stayed in basically a private dorm so it’s great for travelling in groups. It’s not necessarily close to the city centre of berestagi however it’s really easy to get a bus in and Tati will help you with everything!
