Super nice hostel. There is a travellers vibe, as Gandhi himself traveled a lot. Nice ambiance with others travellers. Gandhi is a super nice person and host. He gives you all the infos and tips you need to go around. The location is amazing: quiet, far from the noisy city center, close to the Nile (you can swim there!) and in a real Nubian village. After 2 quite stressful weeks throughout Egypt, I could relax at Go Inn Backpackers. I felt totally safe.

2 french guys looking to make friends, and great pictures: this hostel answered both needs. We had small bondfires during the evenings, and the hostel being built literally on the Nile’s rocks, you wake up with a breathtaking view. Food is okay, and rather cheap along with beverages.

I really loved this place. I heard that you could swim here but when I arrived I couldn't believe how nice it was with a waterfront garden/cafe/restaurant with shisha, a firepit. Grilled chicken with bread salad and fries for 100EGP, shisha for cheap, kayaks 100EGP per hour and I met a lot of lovely people sat round the fire at night. Facilities fairly basic but comfortable. Bit out of town but it's peaceful away from chaos. We always used InDrive, 40-50EGP to the centre v easy.
