The Ganpati Guest House is a small hotel with great character, situated on Meer Ghat on the banks of the River Ganges, offering superb panoramic views, from east where the sunrises to the west. It is in an ideal position for seeing the main sites of Varanasi, for example a stairway leads to the Ghats from where you can take a boat trip along the river. Only a short walk away it is possible to see the Burning Ghat (Manikrnika Ghat) and the Main Ghat (Dasaswmedh Ghat). The hotel provides a superb service for travelling on from Varanasi by train, bus and flights, and onward journeys to Nepal all for a nominal fee. The inner courtyard is a great area for relaxing and meeting new people while enjoying a cold drink or meal from the vegetarian restaurant. The accommodation is wide ranging to suit all budgets and the friendly atmosphere is second to none. Please book early to avoid disappointment. The Ganpati Guest House is made up of 22 comfortable bedrooms individually decorated some with private bathrooms and some bedrooms with common bathrooms shower and toilet.
