Hostal Marques de Liz is located in the heart of Vedado, one of the most important areas of Havana, the hotel was created from a beautiful old house which was totally rebuilt by its current owners, the Marquez family. In Vedado you can find most of the nightclubs, theaters, cinemas and restaurants throughout the city. Very close to points of interest such as the Malecon, the Revolution Square, the Copppelia, the Yara cinema and avenues such as 23 (La Rampa), Paseo and Los Presidentes.
The area is safe, quiet, and green, and only a short taxi ride into old-town Havana where all the action awaits you. The glam makeover of the property kept all the charm of its former beauty while including all the luxuries of modern-day life. Stained glass windows, Tiffany lamps and antique fixings give it that feeling of an old luxury boutique hotel yet it still retains the friendly charm of a family-run bed and breakfast.
All rooms have their own private entrance, bathroom, kitchenette, mini-fridge and tea/ coffee making facilities, AC, TV, Safe-box, hairdryer and other amenities. We welcome all visitors from all over the world that would like to have a nice and relaxing place to stay. All those that are also interested in getting to know the Cubans and the Real Cuba in a warm, kind and familiar environment.
