Comlam Eco House - Mountain Retreat

I left after a few hours, I didn't even stay 1 night, I was booked for 2 nights. The place is beautiful as it's rural however I had 0 hot water and it was freezing. There were bed bugs and I was told off. Told to expect the bugs as its the county... I don't think cold water and bed bugs is the countryside. The owners argued with me when I wanted to leave and said they were making it better. Made me feels so uncomfortable and really upset. I was travelling solo... I did not feel safe .

Incredible expirence here. Stayed in private room, very clean and nice bed. No ac but can have a fan. Electric blanket for when it’s cold. They give towels, water, and basic toiletries. The cafe makes incredible food so worth just eating there. Staff are all very nice and helpful. They can organize trips or taxis for you. About 2-3 hour walk uphill into Sapa town and lots to explore around where you are. Would recommend and stay again

We adored our stay here! Beautiful location, and such friendly and kind people work here. We booked the one day village trek easily from this accommodation and it was excellent. Breakfast and drinks were delicious. We got our laundry done here too. We booked our bus back to Hanoi from here also. We stayed in the private bungalow and felt so comfortable and safe. Thanks for an excellent stay!
