Casa Di Alfredo

Great B&B. Awesome location right outside the city wall. Beautiful big terrace where you can watch the sun set over the old town. Great value for money.

A good place to stay in Siena. Alfredo is very kind and knowledgeable, an excellent host. His mother is a bit brusque. The room we stayed in was great (no a/c but the fan worked well, and this was in August). We had a shared bathroom; the people we were sharing with were not very considerate- left the bathroom in a mess, monopolized it doing laundry in the sink, etc. That is not the fault of the hostel, of course. Breakfast was mediocre. But overall a good value.

I think they deliberately set out to mislead. They stayed clearly in the description that breakfast is included but then in much smaller type in all their room descriptions they say it is not. Why state it is free when all the individual rooms say it is not-;
