The hostel is fine and located close to the train station. Very nice staff who can speak several languages well.

Very clean, safe and lovely location with a pool. Not a super backpacky vibe as most people were staying in the hotel. It was a bit strange to be in a room with so many beds but when I was there we only had 4 other people! Definitely bring earplugs though

Beds are small very close to each other without curtains, only 2 toilets and 2 showers for the floor. Check in and check out took too long. It’s right by the station and a few minutes from the funicular. Naturally you get what you pay for in Lugano but I feel a bit ripped off.
