Downtown Belgrade Hostel

Quite hard to find from the outside. The lift was broken so we had to climb 12 flights of stairs. The staff were understanding when we didn’t have cash and allowed us the opportunity to withdraw. They don’t accept card payments. We were lucky to have the apartment to ourselves, and was relatively clean. Decent location in the Old Town.

3 days before my arrival I received this email from the hostel: "Hello, Due to unannounced works by the city utility services, we are unable to accommodate you in your accommodation unit. we have found you an alternative apartment near our address. For the same price. Please let us know what you decide. Jasmina" I checked Hostelworld and they were still booking rooms in the Hostel. It appears they may have overbooked. They cancel my reservation less thsn a day before I was to arrive. I am pissed off.
