ArkaBarka is in a fantastically peaceful location. It was absolutely wonderful to wake to the dawn chorus and the sound of birds splashing in the river. Unfortunately, we were woken by some drunken residents at 4am, who yelled for an hour before crashing out. While the hostel cannot be held responsible for that behavior, it can own its response -which in this case was none. Having the right staff on overnight would solve this problem and earn a perfect rating from me.

We had a great time at Arkabarka. The best part was to sit outside on the patio in the evening. The rooms were nice enough and the breakfast was good. The vibe around the property was great. One friend did however get fleas, possibly from the cat.
