Generator Rome is a design hotel-hostel located in the heart of the Eternal City, close to the Colosseum and Termini Station.

Guests can choose from shared dorms to private rooms, offering something for everyone.

Property has dormitories and private rooms available, please pay attention, Deluxe Single rooms can accommodate a maximum of 1 person.

GROUPS
Any reservation of 10 people or more per night will be considered a group with different terms and conditions. Groups reservations can only be made through our reservations team, and Generator reserves the right to cancel it otherwise

The staff were very friendly and I had a great stay. There was dust on the shelves by my bed, but not too bad. One of the showers in my room didn't have hot water, but we made do with the other. I would have given a perfect rating, however the fire alarm went off one night. We went to the lobby where other guests were and there were no staff members to tell us what had happened or to let us know that it was safe to return. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

The only thing that's a bit sketchy is the location. It's basically next to the Termini station which has a lot of suspicious people walking around, especially during night-time. On top of that, I was told that area is one of the dirtiest locations in Rome and you can immediately see that. That being said, the hostel was VERY SAFE. As a solo female traveller, I have never felt my security being compromised there. The hostel is clean and the atmosphere among other guests was amazing!

I really loved it here! The room was better than I expected, and was decorated nicely. Everyone working here was so nice, and very patient with me and my jet lag brain fog. The lasagna was so good at the hostel bar, we ate there every night! Short taxi ride to everywhere we wanted to go, and down the street from the underground station :)
