At the time I thought nothing of it when I first arrived in the room. It had a sweet smell, and thought it being stale. I woke up with bite marks and had to head for the airport. Now 6 weeks later, I recognize the smell as bedbugs since they multiplied in my home as well. At first I wondered why this room was cheaper, I'm not sure if this was the reason? The smell is an indication of an advanced stage of infestation, so I wonder how this was never noticed? Hopefully this will get sorted out because this is

The night attendant was aggressive, enforcing rules we were never informed of & sometimes seemed to invent, which made us uncomfortable. We paid for an 8-bed room with AC, but both were not properly honored during our stay, a 9th guest added and AC control removed. If a hostel reduces services that are explicitly advertised, guests should not be charged full price. On top of that, they only accepted cash and required it upfront. Overall, the experience felt misleading and poorly managed.
