Great atmosphere. Social with lots of facilities to entertain you and your friends including 4 hrs of free drinks nightly. Easy to set up tours and transfers. Great, balanced breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and helped us book different trips, rent motor bikes and we could even easily extend our stay when our boat to coron was cancelled on short notice. The free drinks and free breakfast are a great extra and create a social athmosphere where you can easily meet new people. Rooms are a bit small and it could be cleaner but that was not a big issue. Considering it is a bit of a party hotel it was still surprisingly quiet in the room.

The staff here is amazing. I got extremely ill with food poisoning while in El Nido and the staff at Big Paul transported me to the hospital and Rona (one of the staff) went with me to comfort me, stayed with me for hours and even came back the next morning to bring me food and check on me. I’m beyond grateful for them
