Turn Hostel

We had a good stay at Turn Hostel in Ljubljana. The staff was nice but seemed a bit busy as there is a pub right next door which they also manage. The room was okay, it was right by the street (you will walk from the street into the room) so a bit noisy. Had a bathroom inside of the room which was a bit off/not good since we were 8 people in the room. Facilities were okay clean. Only the bottom beds had a cover, so it was quite bright and not so private for the people in the top beds.

I could not recommend this hostel more! I booked a 6 bed mix dorm and when I arrived there were 4 grown men in their 40-50’s placed in my room. I felt very uncomfortable as a 24 year old female. I spoke to one of the receptionist and they switched me immediately to a female only dorm with no hesitation. The shared bathroom and showers were always clean as well as the bedroom. The hostel itself is in an amazing location with a bar attached. Definitely would stay here again!!

Hostel was in a good location, not too far from the station and a 5 min walk to the old town. Has a bar next door which was awesome and has good prices. Didn’t think the staff were that friendly unfortunately. Other rooms were behind a locked door near the pub but ours opened right into the street, the door did not seem to lock properly as we found it open lots of times. About 4 am on our second night 2 drunk guys came in our room, who were in the hostel but the wrong room. A bit of asafetyissue
