Hostal Casa del Angel

Interesting one. I liked the kitchen and how there was iguanas inside the hostel. location was right on edge of mazunte so a little farfar out. Owner is very stressed man, he was nice to me but he kicked out some of my friends for making some noise coming home late. threatened them with violence etc.

Very very dirty place, both room and toilets. No toilet paper in the bathrooms and full of insects and animals on beds and WC. The room did not have windows or curtains so we could sleep only until workers at the facility started fixing stuff with drilling machine next to our room walls. Every morning! Only plus of this place is the price, however for similar price you can have much more around the same area.

The room was alright, the triple bunks not so good for anyone in the second or third bunk! Difficult to get into because of the mosquito net and really hot. Mosquito nets were a nice idea but they had holes in them. Bathroom was alright but there was only one between 12 people, and there’s two outside toilets that were quite dirty. Biggest concern was lack of security, no lockers to keep bags in, anyone could have walked straight off the street and taken our stuff. There were just small lockers for valuable
