My Way Hostel Chiang Mai

Great hostel for cheap. Staff was very friendly to me. Small lockers available any time but kept my suitcase and bag in my beg behind curtain. Some food and cafes nearby

Would not recommend! We booked our stay yesterday morning and sent an email at 6pm with our estimated check-in time for 10-11pm. We arrived at 10:30pm and nobody was at the desk, despite 24hr desk service and check-in until 11pm advertised. The door was locked and we could not get in. No reply to the email sent earlier in the day. Phone number on the door rang through to an automated reply, and we had no reply on Facebook. Knocked for 15 minutes. Shocking service. Ended up staying in Lani hotel.

The hostel is very clean and the staff we met were really lovely and helpful. However, the location is not ideal, we had to get taxis everywhere. As well as this, we would feel more secure if there was someone who sat on the welcome desk, as the description says 24hr security. Thank you for our stay
