Very good location; 3 minutes walk to the beach, 30 minutes walk to the touristy downtown area. Convenient bus connections. Friendly and very helpful staff. Located up an incline then you need to carry your luggage up a very long flight of stairs to reach the hostel. No elevator. Nice view from the terrace upstairs. They need more toilets and sinks. Only 2 for the whole hostel are not enough.

Great hostel, could do with a wee lick of paint here and there but can't argue with the price. As many have mentioned, its a real climb up the stairs to access it. Done a couple of 5k runs and the stairs were a killer to finish but I love a challenge. Staff were nice but not too intrusive. Would definitely choose again the next time im in Malaga and have no problem recommending it.

Highly recommended at every level. Just be aware the trade off for view etc is there are several stairs to climb -- if accessibility to you is an issue.
