Bed in Valletta

A very average hostel. You didn't get your own key and were required to use the key in a lockbox and put this back each time you unlocked the door. The room was quite small and the toilet in the room is more like a cubicle by one of the beds not an ensuite and I didn't feel comfortable using it. The other bathroom with the shower was in the basement and there were no lights in the stairwell down there. The sheets on the bed were old and need an update. Considering what others wrote about the property I was very sceptical. I was positively surprised, had a pleasant stay, everything was clean, I was the only one who stayed there, the staff gave me good recommendations for food. Check in was uncomplicated.

Value: Very inexpensive stay, free wifi, great natural light. Security: The front desk was never an issue, hassle-free entry, security camera, and no need to lock the door. Location: Close to the beautiful waterfront, fantastic restaurants and bars, and historical landmarks. Staff: No issues with staff, wouldn't even know they were there.
