I think in general the place is amazing! I really liked the facilities and value for money. However, on certain days there is no person at the facility, which was not a problem to me but could be something to take into account.

I never actually met Mena, who runs the place, but she saved me from a disaster when I lost my wallet on my way to Puerto Lopez. She looked up how I could get money out of my bank just using my bank's app, and it saved me from hitchhiking home with no money. Plus, she answered most of the questions I had about Puerto Lopez so that's the best part of the visit. I was disappointed the kitchen had no microwave or oven and the stairs into the group dome were not attached so that was a bit scary.

Cool accommodation in the dorm dome. Nice atmosphere and pretty quiet as it’s a little walk out of town. Angel was brilliant and sorted my night bus reservation when he realised I was just winging it.
