Terra Sagrada Hostel is a great option for your stay in Cusco. It’s only a 5 minute walk from Plaza Mayor and there are plenty of stores and restaurants located nearby. My initial arrival was delayed by a day due to an unexpected flight cancellation, but thankfully the hostel staff were very accommodating by holding my reservation and allowing me to check in late. A major positive about Terra Sagrada was just how quiet and relaxing the environment is.

Excellent base for exploring Cusco and the many surrounding attractions in the region. Three things stood out to me: 1. It’s like a calm oasis inside what is a very busy historic centre of the city. As soon as you step in, it’s very quiet and relaxing. 2. Hot shower water is reliable, which isn’t always a given in more affordable accommodation in Peru. 3. Most of all, the staff are brilliant and really make it the place it is. Yvonne, Saul, Kelly, Frank and Hector were all fantastic.
