Agartha - Peace & Quiet - Nature Retreat

It’s a beautiful property, a refuge from the noise of town but close enough to walk. The staff are great. The negatives are that it’s a bit rundown and dated. The bedroom I was in is desperate for paint and updated linens and amenities like privacy curtains, lights and more than one outlet. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and tiny ants on the ground. But overall it was a nice stay and I would recommend.

The best place to stay in Boquete. I highly recommend ☺️ the kindest people you’ll ever meet.

I enjoyed my stay here very much and would have stayed longer if I had time! Carlos and Mavel are incredibly kind and helpful people. I wanted to hike Volcán Barú but didn’t have the right gear and they let me borrow a warm jacket. Carlos also went into town to get snacks for my hike so that I could stay and rest. My last night we went into town together with another guest to see the christmas lights. It was things like this that made the stay feel more like home than a hostel which was perfect!
