Cogo Tennoji

I really liked this place, it was in a convenient location about a 10-minute walk from Tennoji station, which made getting around Osaka easy. 20-minute walk away and you're near Tsūtenkaku Tower and its surrounding markets. Definitely more of a digital nomad vibe with many people appearing to work on their computers in the common area (which was a huge and very comfortable common area). I had the worst experience at this hostel, and it ruined the rest of my trip to Osaka. I was woken up by another woman in the female dorm, who harassed the people sleeping there the whole night. I was so scared. When I went down to reception, they had no number to call, and when we finally found someone, they were not able to resolve the situation. This woman had been harassing guests several times before, without the manager doing anything about it. It was an extremely uncomfortable situation.

Great hostel, it feels like a combination of a hotel/hostel, you'll see families who are in Osaka for the aquarium or amusement park. The metro is like 10 minutes away, and there's a grocery store in there if you're looking to cook. The hostel was social, met some nice people in here, and the price is great. When I return to Osaka, I will gladly stay here again.
