Looking for a fun, friendly, and social place to stay? You've found it! Located just 250 meters (820 feet) from Haad Rin beach, the home of the legendary FULL MOON PARTY, our hostel is the perfect spot to experience the vibrant energy of Haad Rin.
During the Full Moon Party, we host a variety of daily activities designed to help you meet and connect with fellow travelers—without relying on drugs or alcohol. Join us for BBQ nights, family dinners, scenic hikes, game nights, live music, glow-in-the-dark body painting, and much more. Our goal is to make sure everyone has an unforgettable Full Moon experience, whether you're here to party or just enjoy the island's magic.
Situated on the main street, Funky Monkey Hostel is surrounded by lively bars, restaurants, and shops. And after a night out, finding your way back is as easy as it gets! 😉
Rooms:
Our hostel offers standard mixed dorms with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, lockers, and a choice of single or double beds. While not luxurious, our dorms are equipped with essentials like eye masks, ear plugs, towels, electrical sockets, night lights, and extra blankets. Bathrooms come stocked with shower cream, shampoo, and hand soap, and we provide free drinking water and refill stations to keep you hydrated. For added peace of mind, all rooms feature secure electronic key card access.
Prefer more privacy? We have private rooms too, with some offering balconies. While the rooms may not be five-star, they’re always clean, cozy, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Extras:
Every room booked during the Full Moon period comes with a complimentary breakfast to start your day right. We even whip up fresh waffles from 9-11am daily!

Property Terms & Policies:
Check-in: From 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Check-out: From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Late check out will be charged 50% of the following day's rate.
Children & Beds:
Children are not allowed.
Cribs and extra beds aren't available at this property.
Age restriction:
Check-in is only possible for guests between 18 and 40 years old.
People who are over 40 years old will be re won't be refunded
Pets:
Pets are not allowed.
Cancellation/ prepayment:
We only accept cash payments at the property
Non refundable rate plan - cancelation or no show - will be charged 100% of the booking amount (minus deposit for the hostelworld),
Standard rate plan - cancellations allowed free of charge 21 days before the arrival, after that 100% of the booking amount will be charged (minus deposit for the hostelworld),

Smoking:
Strictly not allowed in the rooms or common areas except the designated smoking area. Failing to follow the rules may result in fines from 5000 baht or eviction.
